In June of 1985, Mike accepted Christ at a high school church camp in Ohio. He was discipled and then graduated from the Kansas City Baptist Temple Shepherd School of Ministry in 1993. He was ordained the same year.
Mike started pastoring youth in a small church in Iola, KS, until the Lord called him to Monmouth, IL.
He is married to Becky, and has three daughters; Bethany, Josephine, and Katie (adopted daughter in the Lord).
